Description
Beetle is a series of seats produced by Gubi and inspired by the shape of the beetle. The high stool version consists of two upholstered shells that form the seat and backrest. The slightly conical legs are made of black epoxy coated steel or brass. The elegant shape of the seat is emphasised by leather or fabric piping. The GamFratesi studio’s creations embody the union of Italian design with Danish sobriety. Contrasts are often the key to the inspiration of this duo who work with a purely Scandinavian artisanal approach, simple and functional, but always with a strong concept and story, integrated in each of their creations.
