With Broom, Philippe Starck and Emeco have together created a collection of seating made from recycled and recyclable materials, designed to last. Broom is made from 75% recycled polypropylene and 15% recycled wood fibre that would otherwise have been waste. ‘Imagine’, says Philippe Starck, ‘a guy who takes a humble broom and starts to clean the workshop and with this dust he makes new magic. That’s why this series is called Broom. Published by Emeco, the Broom collection is made from recycled polypropylene and sawdust, and fibreglass. Broom high stools are also suitable for outdoor use.
