The graceful, lightweight shapes of the CTR collection edited by Tribu are the result of a perfect balance between technique and natural comfort. With CTR, Italian designer Piergiorgio Cazzaniga gives us a masterful demonstration of his art: seemingly simple creations that conceal a perfect technical mastery. The CTR frame is made up of long, powder-coated stainless steel tubes, which are bent to shape the seat in an unbroken line. The corners of this tubular structure alternate between curves and straight lines, requiring a great deal of skill. Connected to the frame at two points, the backrest gives the impression of being suspended in space. Its subtly worked weave, with an airy structure, evokes an age-old traditional technique. The seat is covered with a waterproof cushion that is easy to remove.
