Description
Designed in 1980, the D’Urso Occasional Table embodies the high-tech design movement through its utilitarian aesthetic, use of industrial materials, and hidden casters. Its two-tier structure features a lower shelf that provides additional space to store or display books and objects, while keeping the top surface clean and uncluttered. “The items below remain visible—they’re highlighted without being in the way,” explains renowned interior designer and minimalist Joseph D’Urso. Crafted from welded steel, this table stands out for its durability and its polished, glossy finishes. The concealed wheels make it easy to move the table as needed. The open lower shelf functions as a second tabletop, while the reflective surfaces pick up surrounding objects and help the table blend seamlessly into its environment. Available in various sizes, it can be used as either a coffee table or a side table.
