The duo Charles and Ray Eames created awhimsical coat rack for Vitra in 1953. Like an unusual, cheerful sculpture, Hang it all is a coat rack that, thanks to its brightly coloured wooden balls, allows you to hang hats, scarves, jackets and coats. This coat hanger does away with mundane pegs and encourages children to hang « all their stuff » on it, as its name suggests, from their dolls to their roller skates! The Hang it all coat rack can be extended ad infinitum and is a playful alternative to monotonous hooks, both in the children’s bedroom and in the entrance to the house. Hang it all is a whimsical everyday accessory on display at the Vitra Design Museum.
