Description
One of the precursors of the ‘high-tech’ look of the 1980s – still popular today – had actually emerged almost half a century earlier. The talented Eileen Gray pre-empted the industrial aesthetics of modern technology with the Folding Screen. Produced by Classicon, this voluminous home accessory finds its rightful place in an interior. Folding Screen is made up of four panels covered with perforated sheet metal in two different patterns then lacquered in black, red or white. Folding Screen has gentle curves and divides a room in two without being too much. It takes on a sculptural look in a living room or in a small apartment, making make the most of limited space.
