Designed by Space Copenhagen, Eternity is a stackable chair with armrests made from waste using a revolutionary new technology, patented by Mater called « Mater Circular Material ». Easily integrated into different types of spaces and interiors, the design of the Eternity chair emphasises comfort and functionality, combined with industrial and sculptural features. The shell of the Eternity chair is made from coffee waste from coffee producer BKI, mixed with GROHE’s industrial plastic waste. This innovative technology developed by Mater enables different waste streams to be mixed so that many different types of furniture can be moulded. This technique enables efficient recycling of industrial waste while reducing carbon emissions, instead of burning the waste. Eternity can be completely dismantled, allowing each component to be recycled in new production circles.Functional and comfortable, the Eternity stacking chair with armrests is durable for private or public use. Variations in finish are possible, due to the use of recycled materials.
