This generously proportioned armchair takes its name and shape from the traditional Japanese fans. Uchiwa, created by the duo Doshi & Levien for Danish brand Hay, stands out with its enveloping shell that is both familiar and surprising. The front and back of the chair are available in two different fabrics, creating a contrast and marking two spaces: the inside and the outside. In a classic or Quilt version, Uchiwa invites itself into domestic or contract environments, bringing a sculptural and comforting touch.
