Created and designed by architect Charlotte Perriand, the Desk Lamp is a light fixture produced by Nemo Lighting. Originally designed to complement the reflections of a mirror on a piece of furniture created for the famous French glassmaker Boussois, a wall-mounted version of the Desk Lamp was launched in 1965.Now adapted for interior and workspaces, the Desk Lamp retains all the characteristics of its original version: a white diffuser preserves the natural colour of the light, while the translucent moulded glass finishes appear pure and shiny on the outside.The light emitted by the Desk Lamp wall light is perfectly suited to illuminating small spaces, such as a reading corner, but it can also complement the décor of a coffee table or storage unit.
