The 611 chair brings together a solid birch frame with a seat and backrest made from woven linen webbing. Designed for comfort and practicality, the strap adapts to the person sitting, making the chair exceptionally comfortable. The 611 chair can be easily reupholstered, meaning the chair can have several life cycles. One of Alvar Aalto’s first modern furniture designs, the Chair 611 has been in continuous production since its inception.
