Designed in 1972 by Louis Weisdorf and reissued by Gubi, the Multi-lite suspension lamp has architecture and functionality thanks to its adjustable system that allows for a multitude of lighting options. At the time of its creation, Louis Weisdorf reflected his passion for diversity. The designer has made an exception to his own concept of using multiple repetitive elements. With its architectural silhouette, the suspension Multi-Lite by Gubi reveals a decidedly precious aura in both classic and contemporary interiors. Very representative of the golden age, the suspension Multi-lite stands out for its shape allowing remarkable functionality. The suspension Multi-lite, in keeping with the neo-Scandinavian trend, features a central section with two interlocking cylinders that contain the light source. Surrounding the cylinders of the Multi-litesuspension is the outer dome consisting of two half-spheres that pivot up and down. These two parts can be oriented independently of each other. This allows the light to be directed in different ways: upwards, downwards or asymmetrically. Gubi unveils here, a resolutely precious aura in classic and contemporary interiors.
