Originally designed in 1954, Bagdad is an original lamp in perforated metal, the preferred material of its designer, Mathieu Matégot. A multi-faceted cubist construction with a comet-shaped tail, the sculptural design of the Bagdad lamp has proved timeless thanks to its unique and playful character. Reissued by Gubi, the new version of Bagdad cuts the size in half and adds an extra element of versatility by making it portable It features a three-level dimmer switch.
