In the Wind is a floor lamp designed by Arihiro Miyake for the Italian house Nemo Lighting.The structure of theIn the Wind floor lamp, made of extruded aluminium, is obtained using metal torsion technology, expressly studied by Nemo Lighting. Thanks to this deliberate misalignment of the metal and the inclusion of three LED sources, the In the Wind floor lamp projects its light 360°. What’s more, its light intensity can be adjusted using a dimmer. The end parts of the In the Wind luminaire are made of cast aluminium and the diffusers of opaline methacrylate.As its name suggests, « In the Wind » boasts an airy design that gives it an impression of lightness, ideal for comfortably lighting a living room, bedroom or office, for example.
