Harri Koskinen has created a collection of candleholders for Iittala that are characterised by a reflection on the use of mouth-blown glass. The Lantern candleholders create a warm and elegant atmosphere, giving the illusion of light floating in the air. The clear, clean lines reflect the light like an illuminated sculpture ‘placed on a pedestal’. The young Finnish designer describes the tea light holder as a ‘light in flight’ yet stationary inside the glass.
