Edited by Gubi, the sofa Beetle has a rounded, protective outer shell combined with a soft interior – like a beetle. The Beetle Sofa 2-seater plays on the contrast between the enveloping outer shell and a soft, welcoming interior that encourages you to sit down. The character of the seat is reinforced with delicate, slightly conical feet, giving a feeling of lightness. The designer duo GamFratesi studied the anatomy, aesthetics and movement of a beetle. The design of Beetle reinterprets the characteristic elements of beetle sections: shape, shells, sutures, rigid exterior and flexible interior.
