Description
Tatou is a collection of light fittings created by the famous designer Patricia Urquiola for Flos. The collection is characterised by a lampshade inspired by the shell of an armadillo (tatou in French, hence the name), whose armour is made up of overlapping plates. Patricia Urquiola has created a meticulously designed light fitting, with the shape of Japanese armour, a collection of metal buckles cleverly joined by tapes. The lamp has an external polycarbonate diffuser, which is available in white, black or ochre. The internal diffuser is made of opaline polycarbonate, which casts diffused light throughout the room. The pendant lamp is at its most beautiful above a dining table, while the table lamp is perfect on a bedside table, thanks to the materials used, selected for their wonderful interaction with light.
